Beschreibung
Composer Peter Schindler on this separate edition from “Perpetuum mobile”:Spring brings with it a long awaited, lively change of emotions. Let us welcome Amor. Amor conquers all and calls us to inner joy. Spring and love, at last! We pay homage to warmth, which is responsible for the earth sprouting and for the God Amor gaining the upper hand. The song collage on texts nos. 139, 56 and 132 from the Codex Buranus is like the Old Testament Song of Songs. Amor now has his greatest power and diligently carries out his work. The whole of nature is caught up in it.A song for soloists and choir, sung in a pulsating rhythm. The music moves forward restlessly, tirelessly, but not aimlessly. “Amor vincit omnia!” (Love conquers all!) This is the central movement in this piece.
