Thisfully tonal Scandinavian work of charm, intelligence and lyricism was well received, though the Orchestral parts were destroyed in the bombings of the Second World War. Jørgensen produced this Trombone and Pianoversion a few years after the premiere and it continues to enjoy performances and recordings today.
